Plans and billing
Plans, the free trial, renewals, changing plan and missed payments.
The plans
PiggoChat is a subscription. Every plan works on both Instagram and Messenger; higher plans add more items and more ways to sell.
| Plan | What you get |
|---|---|
| Free | Up to 3 products and 3 services with 1 photo each, Instagram and Messenger, the chat menu, your store information and policies, and the shared inbox. Customers see your catalogue and contact you to order. |
| Pro | Up to 10 products and 10 services. Customers order inside the chat, book appointments and reserve tables. Order tracking with automatic status messages, cash on delivery, receipts. The restaurant menu is shown in the chat (display only). |
| Premium | Up to 30 products and 30 services with 5 photos each. Colour and size variants with their own price and stock; your own web shop and menu page with ordering; bookable staff; delivery areas and fees; coupons; and card payments through your own Stripe account (coming soon). |
| Custom | Higher limits and features set up for bigger businesses by our team. Contact us. |
Current prices are on the pricing page, in your currency. In the dashboard, a feature your plan doesn’t include is shown with a lock and an Upgrade plan link, so you always know what you’d get.
Free trial
- Every new store can try Premium free for 14 days, without a card. One trial per email address.
- The Subscription page shows how many trial days are left.
- When the trial ends, the store moves to Free. Everything is kept — you just can’t use Premium-only features until you upgrade.
- Upgrading during the trial starts your paid plan immediately (the trial ends early).
Monthly or annual
- Monthly — paid every month.
- Annual — paid once a year at the price of 11 months, so one month is free.
Your billing date is the day you started, not the 1st of the month. Start on the 16th and each period runs to the 16th of the next month (or the same date next year).
All payments are by card on Stripe’s secure page. PiggoChat never sees or stores your card number.
The Subscription page
Store owners find it under Settings → Subscription. At the top you see:
- your plan and its status — Active, Past due, or the trial days left;
- Billing — the price and whether it’s monthly or yearly;
- Next renewal — the date and how many days are left;
- Account credit, if you have any;
- any change you’ve scheduled for your next renewal.
Upgrading
- In Change plan, choose the plan (Pro or Premium) and Monthly or Annual.
- Press Upgrade or Review change.
- The next page shows exactly what happens: today’s price, the credit for the unused part of your current plan, what you pay today, and a schedule of the coming payments.
- Press Confirm & pay and pay by card. The new plan starts immediately with a fresh full period.
Example: you’re 10 days into a monthly Pro plan and upgrade to Premium. The unused 20 days of Pro become account credit, Premium starts today, and the credit reduces what you pay.
Switching from monthly to annual counts as an upgrade too, and starts the annual free month right away.
Downgrading
Choosing a lower plan, or switching from annual to monthly, is scheduled for your next renewal — you keep what you’ve paid for until then, and nothing is charged now. The Subscription page shows the scheduled change.
If you don’t renew, your store simply moves to the Free plan after the grace day, with all its data kept — see If a payment is missed.
Renewing
From 7 days before your renewal date, the Subscription page shows a reminder with Renew now. Press it and pay by card to start your next period. If your account credit covers the price, the renewal happens at once without payment.
You can also press Renew now earlier — the new period is added after the current one.
If a payment is missed
- Grace day. If your period ends on the 16th, your plan keeps working and you can still renew on the 17th. The Subscription page shows Payment overdue.
- Moved to Free. Still unpaid after that (on the 18th), the store moves to the Free plan and any account credit is lost. We email you when this happens.
- Nothing is deleted. Products, orders, bookings and settings all stay. Items beyond the Free limits are kept but can’t be added to.
- Come back any time. Upgrade from the Subscription page and everything works as before.
Custom plans
If our team manages your plan, the Subscription page says so and there’s nothing to pay there. Contact cs@piggochat.com for changes.
