Dashboard

Your sales at a glance, plus the app and notifications.

The dashboard page

The first page after you sign in gives you a quick health check of the business. At the top you see your store name, its time zone and currency. Everything here is read-only — click through to make changes.

Get your store ready

New stores see a checklist with four steps:

  1. Set up your store profile — done once you’ve added your about text or contact number.
  2. Add what you sell — done once you have at least one product, service or dish.
  3. Connect Instagram or Messenger — done once a channel is connected.
  4. Try your bot — opens the chat preview.

Each step links to the right page. The checklist disappears when everything is done, or press Hide. During a trial it reminds you to finish before the trial ends. See Quick start for help with each step.

Preview customer chat

The Preview customer chat button (top right) opens a simulator in a new tab. It shows exactly what a customer sees when they message you, using your real catalogue and settings — handy after you change features or prices.

On a wide screen (a laptop or desktop monitor), a panel on the right shows two more things.

Your store links — the public pages for your store:

Chat channels — whether Instagram and Messenger are connected, with a coloured warning when a connection expires within 7 days or needs reconnecting. Click a row to fix it. See Keeping connected.

On a computer the menu is on the left; on a phone the main pages are tabs at the bottom (Home, Orders or Bookings, Messages, your catalogue) and everything else is under More.

The menu only shows features you’ve switched on in Features and that your plan includes. Store owners also see Team, Subscription and Referral; staff logins don’t.

  • The moon / sun button switches between dark and light mode (remembered on each device).
  • Help & Docs opens this guide.
  • Log out signs you out on this device.

Notifications

Alerts are always on. The first time you use the dashboard on a phone or computer, the browser asks whether PiggoChat may send notifications — press Allow. From then on you get an alert the moment something happens, even when the dashboard is closed.

You’ll be notified about:

  • every new order — with its number and amount;
  • every new booking or table reservation — with the time;
  • a chat connection that needs reconnecting.

Tapping an alert opens that order, booking or channel page.

The bell

The bell (bottom of the menu on a computer, top bar on a phone) shows a red number for new notifications. Press it to open the list, which slides in from the left: the newest first, new ones highlighted. Click one to open its page. Opening the list clears the number.

To stop alerts on a device, turn off notifications for PiggoChat in that phone’s or browser’s settings. The list in the dashboard keeps working either way.
